The rules that keep En.Parle worth being on.
These Community Guidelines explain what’s allowed on En.Parle, what isn’t, and how we enforce the line between them. They apply everywhere on the platform — chats, calls, communities, profiles, and business accounts.
EnParle is a communication and social platform operated by Virgile Consulting, LLC, a Utah limited liability company. These Guidelines work alongside our Terms of Service and our Child Safety Standards — where they overlap, all three apply together.
These Guidelines describe conduct and content, not legal definitions — a report doesn’t need to cite a specific section to be reviewed. When in doubt about whether something crosses a line, report it and let our Trust & Safety team make the call.
01 Harassment
Don’t target another person with repeated unwanted contact, humiliation, or behavior meant to distress them. This includes pile-ons coordinated across multiple accounts, unwanted sexual attention, and following someone from one En.Parle space to another after they’ve asked you to stop.
Context matters — heated disagreement is not harassment. A sustained pattern directed at one person, or content designed to make someone afraid to use the platform, is.
02 Hate speech
We don’t allow content that attacks, dehumanizes, or incites hatred against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, serious disease, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, immigration status, or veteran status. This includes slurs used as attacks, dehumanizing comparisons, and content that promotes hateful ideologies or organizations.
03 Threats
Credible threats of violence against a specific person, group, or location are removed immediately and may be reported to law enforcement.
This covers direct threats, statements that glorify or incite violence, and coded or coordinated threats made across multiple messages or accounts. Wishing harm on someone in the abstract is still against our harassment standards even where it falls short of a credible threat.
04 Sexual exploitation
Sexual exploitation of any user — adult or minor — is never permitted. Exploitation of a minor is handled under our dedicated Child Safety Standards, including mandatory NCMEC reporting.
This includes sextortion, trafficking, solicitation, and using En.Parle to advertise or arrange commercial sexual services. It also covers coercing or pressuring another adult user into sharing intimate content.
05 Child safety
En.Parle has a zero-tolerance policy for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including grooming, sextortion of a minor, and content that sexualizes children in any way — real, drawn, or AI-generated.
This is the single area where our response is fastest and most severe: immediate content removal, immediate account suspension, a permanent ban on confirmation, and a mandatory report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) under 18 U.S.C. § 2258A. Full detail is in our Child Safety Standards, including how to report and the NCMEC CyberTipline hotline.
06 Spam
Don’t send bulk unsolicited messages, repeatedly post the same content across communities, use automated tools to mass-message or mass-add users, or artificially inflate engagement (fake accounts, vote manipulation, engagement farms). One relevant message is communication; the same message sent to two hundred strangers is spam.
07 Scams
Don’t use En.Parle to run or promote fraudulent schemes — phishing links, fake giveaways, advance-fee fraud, fraudulent investment or crypto schemes, counterfeit goods, or impersonating a business or support account to extract money or credentials. If it’s designed to separate someone from their money or information under false pretenses, it’s a scam regardless of how it’s dressed up.
08 Impersonation
Your profile should represent you (or, for a business account, the business it’s verified for). Don’t create an account pretending to be another real person, brand, or organization in a way intended to deceive. Parody and commentary accounts are allowed only when clearly labeled as such — if a reasonable person could mistake it for the genuine account, it isn’t clear enough.
09 Illegal content
Don’t use En.Parle to share, sell, or facilitate anything illegal under applicable law — this includes illegal goods and services, content that infringes another person’s intellectual property, and coordinating illegal activity through chats or communities. We comply with valid legal process and may remove content or disclose information to law enforcement where required.
10 Non-consensual intimate material
Sharing intimate images or video of someone without their consent — real or fabricated (“deepfakes”) — is never permitted, regardless of how it was obtained.
This includes threatening to share such material (sextortion), and sharing it even if it was originally sent consensually to you. Content like this is removed on report without requiring the person depicted to prove anything beyond their identity, and repeat or malicious violations result in a permanent ban.
11 Abusive behavior
Beyond the specific categories above, we don’t allow behavior designed to demean, silence, or endanger other users — doxxing (publishing someone’s private information without consent), brigading a person or community, encouraging self-harm, or using En.Parle’s tools (groups, business messaging, calls) to abuse people who can’t easily opt out of contact with you.
12 Reporting
Every profile, message, call, and community post can be reported directly from the En.Parle app — tap the ••• menu and choose Report. Reports involving child endangerment are automatically escalated to our specialized Trust & Safety team ahead of the standard queue; see the Child Safety Standards for that flow specifically.
You can also reach us directly at support@enparle.com (general conduct) or safety@enparle.com (child safety and other urgent Trust & Safety matters). Please don’t submit false or malicious reports — it slows down real ones.
13 Blocking
Blocking a user immediately stops them from messaging you, seeing your activity, or adding you to communities you share. Blocking doesn’t require a reason and isn’t visible to the person you’ve blocked. If someone’s behavior also violates these Guidelines, block and report — blocking protects you, reporting helps us act on the account.
14 Moderation
Depending on severity, a confirmed violation of these Guidelines can result in content removal, a warning, temporary feature restrictions, temporary account suspension, or permanent termination. Severity, intent, and history all factor into which response applies — a first-time borderline case is treated differently from a repeat or malicious one.
Content involving CSAE/CSAM, credible threats of violence, or non-consensual intimate material is removed immediately and does not go through a graduated-warning process; see the relevant sections above.
15 Appeals
If your account or content was restricted and you believe it was a mistake, you can appeal using the instructions provided in the app at the time of the action, or by emailing support@enparle.com with your account details and why you believe the decision was incorrect. Appeals are reviewed by someone who wasn’t part of the original decision where possible.
